Ulman House

SUPPORTIVE & WELCOMING Space

The Ulman House provides free housing for young adult cancer patients undergoing treatment and their caregivers. The house is part of the Ulman Foundation and is located in East Baltimore. The Ulman Foundation wanted to put some finishing touches on the house, and the result was a series of environmental graphics and murals throughout the property.

Project Impact

UPLIFTING RESIDENTS

The painted murals and environmental graphics brought life, energy, color, and optimism to the walls at Ulman House.

Ulman House is a home away from home for young cancer patients receiving life-saving treatment. The residents at Ulman House are greeted by the murals after long, tiring days at the hospital. Residents going to the gym are inspired by the mural and have the opportunity to take pictures in front of it after working out.

Client Testimonial

“From start to finish the overall experience was incredibly positive and exceeded my expectations. As a non-profit, we have limited resources for projects like this and Mike was flexible, creative, and understanding of our needs and limitations. His portfolio of work was impressive, he had a connection to our organization and most importantly, he was super collaborative in the design process.

Every day we have cancer patients staying at Ulman House and thanks to Mike's murals their spirits are lifted as they enjoy the murals. Mike’s work has brought a sense of community, life, and energy to the work that we do and helped us communicate our brand, values, and personality to our supporters, volunteers, and clients in a unique and creative way. Even if you don't know exactly what you want, take the time to meet with Mike and brainstorm your ideas with him and I'm sure the finished product will exceed your expectations.”
